FIRST DAY

I’m always amused by the short “about the author” section in books. It mentions where they live, how many cats they have, their spouse. I’ve sort of, always been into writing. In first grade I got an award for the perfect score on a state writing exam. Reading and math, didn’t ace it. I wish I could remember the topic. In high school, I got into online journals. LiveJournal was the trend. LJ was a hit and wish it was still as popular today. Instead of posting about our teen crushes and how much we hate math, we’d vent about husbands, wives, kids, and bills.

Tumblr is big now, but I feel that it’s like cable television. Once you’ve seen it, it repeats itself. It’s mostly reblogs of porn, gifs, stories no one hears about, and requests for a message from followers. There’s very rare original posts.

Welcome, I’ll be posting random topics here, from things I see and hear on the trains in New York City to sports and media, pretty much anything and everything.
